Learn how to give an Acknowledgement of Country and Embrace Aboriginal Culture

Join us at our exclusive behind closed doors/bottomline workshop facilitated by Jack Kanya Buckskin, a proud Kaurna and Narungga man and founder of an aboriginal business. The workshop will deepen your aboriginal cultural awareness while taking you into a learning and knowledge experience of the Kaurna language.

This workshop is ideal for people looking to widen their knowledge and have an in-depth understanding of the Kaurna language and the aboriginal culture. The workshop will be conducted as per the below schedule:


10 February 2023, 2.30pm–4.30pm

Cultural awareness will be presented by Kuma Kaaru’s cultural educator, Anthony Wathipardu Wilson- a proud Kaurna, Narungga, Ngarrindjeri, Ngadjuri and Arrente Man.

22 February 2023, 2.30pm–4.30pm
Introduction to the Kaurna language
 will be taught by Kaurna language educator, Jack Kanya Kudnuitya Buckskin - a proud Kaurna and Narungga Man.


30 March 2023, 2.30pm–4.30pm

The Kaurna language workshop and Acknowledgement of Country will be continued by Kaurna language educator, Jack Kanya Kudnuitya Buckskin - a proud Kaurna and Narungga Man.

Attendees will enjoy a wonderful afternoon of insightful tips and meaningful interactions, in the company of the like-minded members that make up our incredible BCD and bottomline community.
