Donny Walford, Managing Director of behind closed doors, together with accounting firm BDO have great pleasure in inviting you to a Business Women’s Connexions Networking Evening.
Our Guest Speaker for October is Leonie Knipe, who recently won the 2019 Telstra Western Australia Business Woman of the Year for her outstanding leadership skills in her role of Dealer Principal and Managing Director of three vehicle dealerships across the state.
"As a female coming from a small country town in the wheatbelt region of WA, I never thought I would find myself in a leadership position in the automotive industry. I had to overcome cultural, geographical and biological obstacles to get where I am, but I never gave up. It has been a difficult journey... (but) my path has seen me realise that you don't need to behave like your male counterparts to succeed - instead, celebrate your differences and recognise that you have unique qualities to bring to the table."
Register now to hear Leonie speak on her journey to succeeding in an industry underrepresented by women. She will also share how she ensures her dealerships embrace diversity, and what she's doing in the community to help young drivers.
Join us to meet Leonie and the team from behind closed doors and network with wine and canapés amongst supportive business women.
